Define the AI model and user permissions for AI features for a channel, challenge, or workshop

You can define for each channel, challenge, and workshop what AI features are available, which AI model they use, and which user roles can use the feature.

When you create a new channel, challenge, or workshop, it uses the AI model defined in the workspace settings. However, you can define at a channel, challenge, and workshop level:

which AI features are available for users and
which AI model each feature uses, and
which user roles have access to the AI feature

To define these settings, follow these steps:

Go to a channel, challenge, or workshop whose settings you want to update.
Go to channel settings by clicking the cog wheel icon in the top right corner of Orchidea.
From the opening menu, choose Settings.
Next to AI settings, click on Edit AI settings.
In the appearing modal window, you can define which roles can use a selected AI feature and which AI model version is used in the feature. Please observe that the features vary depending on whether you are in a channel, challenge, or workshop.
