Using classification tree in a challenge.

Classification tree in challenge can be used to filter ideas or to search for them.

You can classify your challenge's ideas in two ways:

• by adding your classification tree to the idea recording form, so users can classify their ideas themselves or
• by creating a classification form in the evaluation phase of your challenge.

Adding a classification tree to a challenge's idea recording form

In this instruction we go through step-by-step how to add a classification tree to a challenge's idea recording form. By doing this can every idea recorder classify their idea themselves.

1. Move to the Challenge of your choice.
2. Go to the tab on the upper right corner of your page.
3. Go to the challenge's first phase, Idea collection phase.
4. In the Idea collection phase click .
   
   
5. Add the classification tree of your choice from the menu on the right by dragging it with your cursor.
6. If your classification tree isn't shown on the menu, scroll down to the bottom of the menu and press + Add new field. Pick Classification tree as the type, pick your the classification tree of your choice and name your classification. To finish adding your new field press Create.
7. If you want to make classifying Mandatory for all idea recorders press blue.
8. To save the changes made click Save on the lower right corner of your form.

Assigning classification responsibility to one person

The responsibility of classifying an idea in challenge can be assigned to one person in the challenge's Development phase. Classification of one idea should be assigned to only one person, so it will be clear that which category the idea belongs to. This is how you assign classifying to one person:

1. Move to the challenge of your choice.
2. Go to the tab on the upper right corner of your page.
3. Go to the challenge's second phase, Development phase.
4. In the Development phase, click .
   
5. Press Add form on the bottom of Manage tab.
6. Give your for form a descriptive name like classification. Drag the classification tree of your choice from the right field list. If your classification isn't on the field list click + Add new field on the bottom of the list. Choose Classification tree as your field type, name your field and pick the classification tree of your choice. Press Create to save your new field.
   
7. To finish up your form click Save.
8. If you want to ask an another person to do the classification press Ask for classification. To do the classification yourself click Create new.
9. To save your classification press Submit.
